Vision
During the earliest days of Cornerstone Church, the founding members strove to set forth a vision for the what the new church should become. They then dediciated themselves to being God's instruments in making this vision a reality. As Cornerstone Church continues to grow, we remain true to that original vision of building...
A church where our vertical relationship with God is nurtured within a community of people who value relationships.
A church that prays and desires to know and apply the Bible.
A church where the Holy Spirit’s guidance, power and presence is welcome and evident.
A church with pastors and teachers whose mission is to build believers in the faith so that they can be equipped to serve the Lord.
A church where the Bible is clearly taught from cover to cover.
A church with emphasis on the laity.
A church that is in the world to transform it.
A church that understands the power of brokenness before God.
A church that is oriented to reaching and nurturing families while promoting activities for mixed ages.
A church that welcomes and respects all regardless of background, race, age, economic status, or appearance.
A church that invests in effective world outreach and which trains and sends its own out to reach the world with the Good News.
A church that celebrates God in heartfelt worship.
A church where people engage in following Jesus Christ and where God’s love shine brightly in its leaders and in the congregation.
Values
"If everything is important, nothing is important."
An effective church must claim certain intrinsic beliefs that become the foundation for its existence and continuity. Cornerstone Church has taken these six core values from God's Word and is using them to govern every aspect of ministry to its members and larger community.
Authentic Community
We value authentic community were relationships are built on honesty, cooperation, commitment and sacrificial love for one another. Everyone is welcome in Cornerstone's diverse community where being transformed into the image of Christ is highly valued and where God's power and presence is evident. Our relationship with Jesus Christ and each other is the glue that holds us together. The source of our community is the love of Jesus Christ for each one of us.

Active Prayer
Prayer is actively promoted as our personal and corporate discipline. When combined with faith, prayer yields amazing results. Our dependence on God to do what we cannot do reminds us that with God all things are possible.

Empowered Believers
God leads his church as the Holy Spirit moves in powerful ways in the lives of its individual believers. God has given every believer a capacity to minister His grace to others. We help every Christian to identify their gifts, passion and natural talents and we encourage their use. The pastors are equippers and models of servant style leaders. The people are the ministers who function in synergistic teams to carry out the work of Jesus Christ in the church and the world.

Vibrant Worship
Our worship is creative and alive because of God's presence and invites every believer to draw near to him. Through worship God's person and work are lifted up in keeping with how He is revealed in Holy Scripture. We use worship styles of the past and present so that all generations will be brought together.

Bibical Focus
The basis of teaching, preaching and the court of final appeal for all matters of belief and Christian living is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. The entire Bible is used as our guidebook for life and living.

Effective Outreach
The gospel is the power of God for salvation to those who believe. We consider it our mission to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ to the entire world beginning with our own local residential communities. We seek to use methods to communicate the unchanging gospel message that fit the cultural context of the hearers.
