“Math Help Anyone?”
One of our Cornerstone family members, Mr. Chuck Dietz, has developed a program on the computer to help with learning math facts. Mr. Dietz volunteered as one of our tutors at Kettering Elementary School in the spring of '09 and was inspired to put something together and make it available as a FREE download to help students. Follow these instructions to get going on it.
First, go to http://www.cgdsoftware.com/
Now, one of the first links you see there will be 'Free software'.
Click it and you will see a list of 20 or so programs that he has written.
Scroll down to the last program and that will be the Math For Kids program.
Click on the link 'Download the program (Version 1.31)' and save the
executable file xMathForKids.exe somewhere (such as the desktop).
Now, just double click this file to install the program from a setup wizard that
is invoked... and accept all the defaults.
