Believer's Baptism Class
Date/Time:
Sunday, September 29th & Sunday, October 6th @ 9:00 AM
About the Class:
Purpose: Christian Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience, symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior. Baptism represents the believer's death to sin, the burial of their old life, and their resurrection to the newness of life in Jesus. In this two-part class, the participant will explore the Bible's response to questions such as:
Why Isn't every Christian baptized?
Is infant baptism sufficient?
What is the biblical view of believer's baptism?
Why was Jesus baptized?
Is Baptism required for salvation?
Believer's Baptism is interactive, with plenty of time for you to ask questions. For those who would like to be baptized, Cornerstone provides baptism services several times a year.
Materials provided, no fee.
