Christian Outreach in Action

What is it?  COA is a nondenominational, nonprofit organization that has been serving the Long Beach community for over 37 years, providing compassionate assistance to those in need.  The ministry faithfully feeds the hungry and shares the Gospel providing encouragement and guidance for those who desire to reach and sustain self-sufficiency.

Where is it?  COA Long Beach is located at 515 E 3rd Street in Long Beach.

How can I get involved?  Each month, a Cornerstone team shares a gospel message and a hot meal with those who visit COA.  The team is composed of three groups, each of which offer an opportunity to serve.  You can help with food preparation (cooked at Cornerstone and completed at COA), serve meals (greeting and serving our guests) or contribute your gifts to the gospel ministry team (music, message, and personal interaction).  To support our next dinner, email missions@cclb.org.
