Young Life

What is it?  Young Life takes the gospel to kids on school campuses, by establishing a club for kids who do not go to church, and therefore do not have access to the Gospel.  The clubs provide a fun, high-energy environment where leaders bring hope and encouragement and promote self-esteem as they share about the impact of knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Relationships are strengthened over the summer through activities such as outings and camps.

Where is it?  Cornerstone is involved with Young Life’s ministry at Cabrillo H.S. and Franklin M.S. in Long Beach.

How can I get involved?  You can get involved by praying for students and leaders, serving as a driver, or providing snacks/food.  Finally, volunteers are invited to share their testimonies and the gospel at club events.  Email missions@cclb.org to learn more.
